Step 1 – Sending message (sender, receiver, content)

tyntec will transmit the inbound SMS to you by calling an URL of your choice and sending the following parameters:

Parameter

Description

sender

The number from which the message was sent

receiver

The number to which the message was sent

text

The content of the message

msgid

A unique message ID generated by tyntec

dcs

The data coding used for encoding the message text. Typical values:

  • 0 for GSM7
  • 1 for ASCII
  • 3 for Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1)

We can also send you the message via HTTPS. We recommend you to use a SSL certificate which has been signed by an official CA (certificate authority) like VeriSign.
